That's how I have my work area too tubbs, I somehow find it easier when I have to search for tools among all the clutter. Never know what parts will appear, in fact I think the only things that are sorted out are wheels and tyres

Looks like you at least made the most of all the room for storage, but i did notice a tiny little space under the desk, i figure if you kneel on you char, you wont need the leg room.... I think most of us have had a bench cluttered like that, mine gets a clean up about every 3-4 builds, just so i can find all my tools, and start again...

You have plenty of kits and magazines for inspiration!
I love to see others work area. I get ideas from it. This one gives me the idea of cleaning mine up. Poke

I have spent money on all those little drawer cabinets (all at garage sales and flea markets btw), they are about 1/2 full... I have to keep opening the drawers to find out what is in them.

Two words: label maker
You can probably find one at a garage sale too.
Just don't forget to make a label that says "label maker" to put on your.....you guessed, label maker.
Say that fast three times! Lol

I tend to use fishing fly boxes for storing stuff, they take up the same amount of space on the bench as the drawer units but can be stacked taller(and are far easier to have disappear under loads of c***)

Nice work area. Plenty of space in the room for some shelves to display and store your collection.
Although I'd like to say that the wood floors may help you avoid losing parts, we all know that there is an abyss at our feet, as builders, when it comes to parts. I've dropped them on my bench, right in front of me and they have bounced off into this abyss, only to be found later in another ox of a completely different kit.
