Show us your pictures of your bench and working areas. Always great to see where your masterpieces are out together.

Here are a few pics after I redid my garage a couple of months ago. It was recently put together so no building had happened here yet, thats why it looks so clean Have ot share this space with my regular tools. Its pretty messy now!

OK, here are a couple pics of my happy place. I'm still cleaning useless junk out of this room. It's amazing how much crap you can pack into a place when you have lived there for over 20 years. So, with out further ado, I present "Skip's Happy Place" still in the midst of a reclamation process. This is an overall shot of my special place. This is my building area. This is my "other model projects" area

Man, Skip and Ice look like they work on the bridge of the Enterprise; those are comfortable spaces for sure. I obsconded with my wife's craft table/wall in the unfinished section of the basement and although I shouldn't be painting down there, I am because the of the dehydrator from Sears and fan for circulation. My wife finally took pity on me and got me some 12"x12" plastic storage bins for WIPs, donor parts, paints, and tools. I still need to clean and get another folding table down there with more lights as well
I love all the organization everyone has shown above; I just wish I had that "super" power!

Looks good Knarf. I'm trying to convince my family that building another garage is a good thing. Buahahaha! I would so move in to the new garage.

What the ? Knarf gets a whole room? That's not fair. I only get 1/2 a room. I'm having a discussion with my wife, because she gets two rooms for her sewing crap and I have to share the office. Then again I do have a 56x20 building out back that is full of my 1:1 car and truck stuff. Maybe if I want warm meals that I don't have the dogs eat samples looking for poison, I will keep the status quo.

Knarf: that's awesome! Hopefully one day I'll have the boxes to show for all the builds I'm planning. I've got a lot of the 1/64 scale Champions pro mods from the 2005 timeframe, ANY 1/64 that turns my head like Muscle machines, 2 Losi rock crawlers (kept killing the Traxxas against curbs), 2 John Force 1/18 scale Action high detail collectibles, several really special "under glass" 1/64ths like the original "Beatnik" Hot Wheels rod, the "Rat Trap" altered, the yellow "Snake" F/C & trailer... Phew... You've still got me beat dude!
The wife looked over my shoulder just as she was leaving to run errands and noticed the young woman clad in the US Flag on the poster and started squaqing about the "naked woman"!!!

thanks for the compliments guys. well ya know mitch, when ya have no wife ya can get away with that kinda thing:) i've got 4 or 5 of mr forces funny cars in 1/64 but the majority of my collection are hot wheels/matchbox(approx 1000 pieces) and the rest are nascar(predominately earnhardt) in all scales. maybe one of these days i'll bust some out for pix.
oh...and the young lady in the flag is the lovely pam anderson;)

Hey... Pammy looks a little worn out lately LOL. I remember she had an RV with a pole in the back - not as in "pole position" LOL. I am going to build a Revell Shoebox Ford top sportsman this winter and I went to a local outdoor flea market this past summer. This older dude (than me) had a HUGE collection of sealed 1/64 cars of all kinds - including a few Racing Champion pro mods. He actually had a Shoebox Ford for $6! It was from a series made in the mid 90's I think and he also had "Christine", quite a few awesome classic F/Cs including the black 60's Prudomme's 'Cuda. I can't remember it all.
I too have a mix of plastic and metal bodied 1/64th JF cars, including Elvis and King of the Hill. Sometimes it's more fun to just collect than to build.

at this point, I have a corner in the dining room. I did however snag my daughters 'artist table' to work on. currently, my paintbooth is on top of the dog pen in the middle of said room, and the dehydrator is under my work table [just got 4 more rings for it today, sky scraper now]. no pic's yet, but rumor has it my daughter wants to move out, before the dust settles from her stuff leaving that room, i'll be in it and set up!

Just scrolled lookin at everyones little caves...Must say some are way awesome!!! I use to have a bedroom in my house where i could do my building.Kept all my kits, everything in one room.Alas my daughter had to move back in with her young baby,so i lost my room.Packed everything up and put it all in boxes! But it worth it just to have my baby home and safe again. (Thats a whole other story)I love having my grand daughter there as well, great waking up or coming thru the front door to "Papa papa papa"That just makes this life all worthwhile!!! Anyway i had to find somewhere to build this winter,so i gots me a wee table Arrrrg OMG theres no way i can build on this!! I know alot of you guys do,but i just have way to much on the go!!LOL so i decided to take all my boxed up models out of my bedroom,to clear a hole and set them all up down in the basement. so i started to put the bench back together so i can work!! and all together so i can start on my grafitti build!!
