The problem now days is not the quality of the glue, clear coat, paint etc. it's the cheap Chinese bags. Everything eats a hole in them and drips out fast and your out of business.

Even though I made a good deal on 98% of these kits Sharp and they are worth more than I paid for them, there's a lot of bucks in this room. And more coming! Being in a wheelchair I had to have a ramp built so I could get in there and I like to sit in there and go through kits thinking what I'm going to do when I get to it. When I am in this room I'm two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon hand-clapping-smiley-emoticon phew-smiley-emoticon big-drooling-smiley-emoticon high-five-smiley-emoticon

Dennis just like me, rule of thumb, modeling space required is always been 2 square feet. and it looks as tho thats just what ya got there for your work area. same goes for me, mine is a folding table I made that is in the center of my shop, thats connected to the corners of the chimney. and folds out of the way if need be! Benches surrounding me has all my supplies mostly on them or in one of hundreds of part container/organizers.....

You know nobody said anything but the Rolls in the last picture of my kits is a Pocher Phantom II Sedanca Coupe I just bought factory wrapped from Italy for $400.00. You can't touch those for less than $1,000.00 We had to dip into the savings to get it. My wife is always behind me in everything I do. Thank God!

I figured I'd show you guys my hobby room. I spent a good portion of today cleaning and got a good start on organizing the place lol. IMG_20141102_220202 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr Its still a mess, but I got a good start on it. Here's the new kits IMG_20141102_220147 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr And the parts kits IMG_20141102_220127 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr The drawer unit in the last pic is full of N scale train supplies/building kits/scenery stuff and the clear tote is gonna be my paint booth/photo booth. I'm not nearly as organized as most of you guys and I don't have near the kits most you fellas have lol. I'll take pics of my work bench when I get that cleaned and organized!

That's a cool little area you have there JB. I LIKE IT!!!! Definitely nice to see where the imagination you have comes from. Also explains why you have some super builds! I like the idea of the stand up area - I bet that makes light detailing easier than sitting down, bent over. I also have been meaning to get me some of those white / clear front drawer stands from WalMart, for parts and decals and such. Excellent room sir!!
