yep! trust me a bigger bench DOESN'T mean more bench space to work on! lol Just like a garage, no matter how big you build it, it is always half of what you need.

Here are a few pics after I redid my garage a couple of months ago. It was recently put together so no building had happened here yet, thats why it looks so clean Have ot share this space with my regular tools. Its pretty messy now!

Ice-You're out of control bro! That looks like a full 1:1 car garage! My table is a bit like yours Doc O, but with no drawers. I do have a peg board on the wall directly in front of my bench and it helps with decluttering. My biggest problem is dog hair in our unfinished basement and when a tiny part goes "ping", it's out with the flashlight and down on my hands and knees searching for a tiny fuel fitting!
BigJ: I dig your pro-photo shoot area. Beats my wife's washer!

My workbench. Nothing spectacular, its clean at the moment. Just hooked up an Espresso machine for those early mornings and late nights.

I have a corner of the basement for my work area. Nothing spectacular but it serves the purpose.

Hey! As I was mentioning in another post I just moved and haven't setup my MANCAVE yet but managed to kick my wife out of it tonight at least Here's what I got to work with (go ahead be jealous... ) the room is about 11X10 Computer, the bigger screen is really a tv hooked to cable, computer & PS3 This is where the model is going to be...well it's all there really, the boxes have my stash in them and the big bin all my paints and chemicals Notice the convenient window to vent out all the fumes when I paint, the room also has a ceiling fan and the mascott/girlfriend is still around, all the time! She's getting an extra comfy bed in here too soon It should all be up and running by the end of this week, I'll post more pics!

I've been busy.... went from this (before moving): To this (a couple of days ago): to this: I am quite happy! It is nice and bright compared to the old basement i was in at the old house! It even has a convenient window to vent out paint fumes

It looks like we all make do with where ever we can set up i think. My build room is the old front porch, which has been filled in, so it is now inside the house, i open the old window and watch the TV while building, which also lets the room warm up over the colder months. I also share the desk with my son, who likes building of a week end when he stays with me. although girls have taken over lately i think. I also built a spray booth out in the shed aswell.

Thanks mate, it don't work but i loved the shape of it and could not throw it out, so i painted it up and store all my paints in it. Found they last alot longer out of the heat/cold.

I have a semi-permanent table down in the basement. It also is the wrapping table at Christmas.
