Awesome work so far Pete, love the Transmision detail, I did tray to do the same thing with my Dale Earnhardt car but it did came out like that, I need to take a little bit more care on those detail, thanks for sharing man

Ok its finally on its wheels for good. Getting the chassis under the body was a nail biter. It really is a tight squeeze, thought for sure I was going to pop the window glass out of it, trying to get the chassis in place. But! its all good. It all fit together like I actually know what I'm doing, mods and all. Now for the hard part, all the little details that finish out a build. The stance is a bit higher in back than I thought I had set up. But, the finished chassis is soo tight it changed how the body sits on it with everything in place. LOL...Even the hood is too tight now and wont fit between the fenders. Gonna have to shave the sides down and re-paint. Ah well, its only plastic. I'll get it ironed out. Heres a few pics!! Oh man!!! All this looks sooooo good. I feel your pain on getting the car body down over the finished interior and chassis. That is ALWAYS nerve racking for me as well. That engine detail, header fit and crossmember are the "bee's knees" as well.

Go figure. Got the headers painted up and weathered a bit with some heat staining. Had to fab an overflow tank, (Thought I took a pic of it?) the kit piece was a joke. Also fabbed up a remote oil filter mount. Kit had...Nothing... 
Finally mounted the engine permanently so I could fab/run the remote filter/oil cooler lines. Once that was done, I had to fab a fuel pressure regulator/filter assembly and run fuel line to the carb. Good thing I don't keep track of how much $$ I spent on this so far!! LOL.. Hooked up a throttle cable and that's where I am at. Gotta do the cooling system and hoses now and finish wiring the durn thing. Once that happens, chassis and body will get married permanently. That's gonna be fun! LOL I'm curious to see how much stuff breaks loose/off when I get to that point. Gonna see how much the body will stretch before the glass pops out!!
