Thanks a bunch guys, I really appreciate the positive feedback. Was a little worried about it, but it came out pretty nice I think. I will work on better pictures, for now, it's onto the trim and lay some decals. Thinking I will paint the motor and tranny the same as well

Started the interior..... Got touch up, and BMF to do yet.
I am planning on applying black flocking for carpeting. Also thinking to add another coat of flat black to the black areas of the seats, then clear with gloss to get that satin finish. Or, do I flock and fuzzy up the black on the seats as the carpet maybe?

Sweet interior mate, smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f i would just flock the carpet, as those seats look great the way they are mate.

Thank you Frank, I do appreciate that - so what you think, fuzzy seats - or satin style seats?

Moving along on this one, lots more painting. Getting closer to starting assembly. I guess you could say I am letting the cat out of the bag a little here - but, decals made, and yes, you can say it.... What the "beep" has CC done to the chrome??? Oh boy - this is messed up I know, BUT, I think it will all come together in the end..... The chrome was painted with foil copper, then cleared. BMF will be copper as well - NO CHROME ANYWHERE -

Just a few updates - engine is color changing, just like the body color, transmission is Testors light gun metal. Waiting on the copper parts to dry to start that attack on this... Plus - I cannot seem to think of what color plug wires I should use??? Suggestions anyone??
Did a little mockup of the interior - time to flock! Thinking a gray silver carpeting and headliner maybe - or I may just stick with black, have not decided yet
I found a set of huge gazongas and decided to tape off my great paint job to make the lower half white again for the decals. I printed both white backing and clear backing decals, but I liked the clear backing ones more so. And well, to make them pop, they must have a white base. So, even though I know it's back wards, I taped and taped and taped to hopefully get no white overspray on the rest of the car.....
Then sprayed her with 2 rounds of light, white satin paint
Pulled the tape off this morning, and I do believe we have success!! Underside is still a nice satin black, body color looks good - NO OVERSPRAY - LIKE SUPER YAY!!! Now it is onto the decals, crossing my toes on these. I am going to attempt for the first time the micro-sol, and then the micro-set, to help adhere to the curves. Body lines and window trim, were it would normally be chrome, will be copper, again - NO CHROME ON THIS BUILD - ALL COPPER....

Looks good. I think some plain black plugs should do the trick.

Thanks Joel - kind of the way I was leaning as well. Since the valve covers will be copper, air cleaner copper, radiator copper, gonna be plenty of "Bling" going on if you will - LOL
