I know what you are saying wisdom - guess I am old school, and the way we did it, (still do actually - LOL), was just to barely touch the clutch, just enough to dis-engage for a brief millisecond before slamming it into the next gear. But yeah, I can agree with you, basically no clutch other than stopping and starting

OK , The 69 ZL-1 Corvette FACTORY RATED at 430 HP and only TWO were sold to the public. It may have been Grossly underrated HP wise , but with ONLY TWO being sold to the public , I would not consider it to be Commercially available to the public to purchase.. With that in mind , I would have to give this TRIVIA answer to Wisdom once again , as the 65 Corvette Fuel Injection 327cu in / 375hp was readily available for the public to purchase. Making it the Highest HP to Cu IN to come out of the Factory , without Performance Modification's done by ANYONE.. Sold from the factory BONE STOCK producing 375 HP.. I am 1 week too late, i just spotted the answer on A$$ Monkey garage, they are trying to purchase one of these exact vettes, and spat out all the facts about it, who said you don't learn much on TV now days...

Coyote and Wisdom. You are both right, sort of.. Coyote: Speed Shift is also letting up on the throttle while shifting and getting back into it after shifting.. Power Shift : Is NOT LETTING UP ON THE THROTTLE while shifting..However you do the clutch is up to you, but you are not letting up on the throttle during shift's,and yes it hard to master for many.I had to practice a whole bunch before I mastered it LOL.. As racing in a 1/4 mile one would not match RPM for shift point's but run full throttle all the way..
