Nice job on the tunnel Fantastic job on the Zeed frame. This is the best way to avoid losing length. I don't think you could have found two better trucks to marry. Can't wait for a mock up. Hell, can't wait to see it done.

Did a little bit of work on the front tonight. I had to cut out one of the crossmembers on the chassis and raise it to get the front as low as I wanted it. Even after doing this it still wasn't low enough so I removed 4mm from all the points that the body meets the chassis to raise the chassis inside the cab. This also brought the cab and bed back into line, but was mainly done to lower it a bit more.

That looks stunning mate, absolutely perfect. Are you leaving the vent window in the rear or removing it? I like removed my self.

Made a start on the interior tonight. All the tunnel is now filled and smoothed, and I have fitted the rear seat from a tamiya volvo kit. I have also made a start on reshaping the front seats from the same volvo as they were a little too square for my taste. I hope you can see the reshaping as it was a pig to get pic off. I'm also thinking to add a console between the rear seats so fabbed one up, but I'm not sure if it will be used or not. Going to change the front suspension to some from a mustang kit as it looks like it will sit lower and pull the wheels inside the arches a little more.

That is some cool work mate, and the console looks awesome, I reckon keep it. This whole build is off the hook mate, a super mega custom in the making.

Stitch, you come up with some different ideas and then make them work. You are doing a beautiful job on this!

I don't think I'm going to make it for the deadline. I haven't started on the filler for the body yet, but that's my fault for doing more mods every time I work on it. Might manage to get to the finish in time if I do nothing else in the meantime. Going to be at my own house for 3 days so some all nighters might be happening

I hope you do get it done mate, this is one killer build, but, if not, i still want to see it finished, it is a very impressive bit of custom modeling.

If I don't finish in time for this, it should work for the december bracket.

Finally got back to the truck. As I sat down the strangest thing happened, and the inner wings fell to the floor. I thought to myself that looks a bit wobbly now so glued the bulkhead panel in, and the front of the body on. It does have the benefit of my now being able to fit larger wheels without raising it again, if anything it's even lower now. I'm going to have to do a little more cutting to straighten up the rear of the chassis before I can make the tilt bed as it's just a little out of line. If I do another crew cab I think it would be better to stretch one frame rather than connect 2 of them.

The pieces on the side are just to keep everything lined up on the body

It's no weather to paint the monte carlo just now, and the 62 bel air grille is fighting me, so I pulled this out again tonight. Not much done tonight apart from sorting out the parts but I did glue the fenders on the bed, and added airbags to the rear suspension. The wheels I'm using for the inner set at the back are a smidgeon smaller but will have to do. I'll be dechroming the inner set and painting them black so hopefully it wont be too noticable. It's also too wide for my display cabinet, rofl This is the size difference between the wheels, but it'll have to do
