I don't think I'm going to risk more clear on it Iceman, might try a light polish if there's time but for now it's going to have to do. But there has been some progress this morning. I've given the engine a basic wire and cut down the bit the distributor goes onto and made a smaller one from a small section of heat shrink as the original was just too tall to fit the hood on. I still have to shorten some of the wires a little to get them a touch lower but it's nearly there. I've also cut down a 57 chevy radiator to fit but no pics of it just now. Also started putting the interior together and realised I need to remove the arm rests to get the sides to fit so they will be cut of, flipped and glued to the back of the sides and foiled to be small pockets in the doors.

Door panels now fit and so does the radiator(great fun cutting on fresh paint, lol). Hoping to foil the pockets on the door but if I run out of time they will be painted. Just have to drill the wheel backs/or put new pins on the axle now to get them to fit and it's assembly time.

The carpet's only red as I found some sticky back flocking in one of the part kits I bought, and the gold is plasti-kote project fast dry enamel antique gold over satin black. Over whire it just didn't work and was more like a faint laquer

My tamiya smoke just got here, going to be close to the finish time but pretty sure I'm going to make it. Wheels and valve covers will not be getting the smoke treatment as they are already on but carbs and body chrome will be getting it.

It's finished. I couldn't get the bumpers to fit at all, and the lights gave me fits due to them being poor quality so maybe lindberg should do a little more work on their chrome pieces.
