-ohh in the standard bed then? I was thinking you may have had some sort of "work truck" bed like an older "Reading" body or something........Been thinking of making one of my own actually, and see how that goes from sheet styrene! We'll see tho! I got to get the truck for it first!

And that's why I changed my mind on this one as an all out work truck. I have a few utility beds that should work for that.

Thanks Dennis, Paul and John. Dale - it was an experiment and it turned out well. I'm ok with it. Still can't decide on a bed though. Will probably save the wedge for a COE can later.

Its looking smart. I like the way you've weathered it and the writing popping through was a really good idea. I could see this on "fast'n'loud"

Ice, You have to PM me what model your wedge bed and some of the others you have WITH pics came from, I have GOT to look for such things! I got a number of ideas in me head but don't know where to start looking for such things! Also, when ya gonna make up yer mind on the bed? impatient-smiley-emoticon Flat bed with low wooden stake sides be a hell of a way to go on this one too! Choices, choices huh?

Les, I've actually seen a few episodes where they just even out the paint and clear. Kind of my idea here.
John, that wedge is a kit that includes the wedges and a camper. I think Model King makes it. Not too common of a kit anymore.

Ice I have that wedge and camper kit and I got it sealed when it didn't cost so much and was just starting to get hard to find and there were still a few around. I'm glad I did. I still think the match-up you have here with the wedge matches the truck cab your using is a great match. IMO.

Yeah I have at least two used wedges and at least one of the campers. Still not sure I want to build the camper but afraid to let it go and then want it and have to pay something crazy for it. But anyway, been taking the wife and 13 out shopping for the holidays. Getting ready for thanksgiving here at the house. Finally got a little bit of time on the bench. Worked on the rims and tires. Still need to sand the tires to get rid of the glossy.
