Looks GREATtho! The wheels are a jump out an bite ya sort of green but thats cool to go with the "patina" you added to the rest of the truck.....
Altho, your modeling here is a Delicacy......They say if its a clear night, and the neighborhood is silent, you can HEAR a Ford rust at night...... you, are showing that delicacy with this one! running-around-smiley-emoticon
Never thought, it were possible to model a delicacy....... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon

Thank John. Come on buddy! You're missing all the info! running-around-smiley-emoticon
I had already shared that: "Added balsa wood small strips of styrene painted chrome."

Ice yes, I get the balsa comment, and the styrene stripe, BUT it looks like the styrene strips are "U" shaped? Channels from Evergreen? OR just square? They don't come off to being square in the pics, which is the reason I asked....
Balsa, thats cool, precuts or did you have to size them width-wise? I'm going to be doing something similar, BUT I don't think I'm using Balsa.....I have a bit of a choice on lumber type LOL

Yeah Balsa wood is the easiest to use and the one that look more to scale from what I've seen. I buy the 8x11 (or something like that) sheets. Then I measure once and then twice, cut and glue. The styrene strips are round half strips. I also have 1/4 round in case I need to do corners or something.
I hope that helps.

I like this Ice. Really like the weathering job you did. That engine is a big block Chevy with Webers. Looks like the 396/427 that came in either the AMT or Revell 1965-7 Corvette kits.

Thanks Skip. And with that engine info I went looking and in found two kits that have this or a similar engine for those of you looking for one. The two kits I found are:
Revell 1967 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coup 2 in 1 (white car) revell 1967 Corvette convertible (clue with black top and orange top down)
