Thank you guys. I've never run brake/fuel lines on any of my builds. After seeing 60sera'a progress, I think this is going to be the kit to try it on. Wish me luck.

Its not that hard to do Ice, just take your time and don't rush it lol. Somewhere I have one of these catilinas that I was building as a lowrider and ran the breaks lines on it. If you want I'll dig it out and get a pic for ya. It really adds that something special to the under carriage.

Alright all you car gurus. I need your help. I'm going to run the brake and fuel lines, but I need to understand from where to where. Please correct me here if I'm wrong.
So for fuel lines, from the carbs> fuel filter> fuel tank?
Brake lines, master cylinder> rear breaks? And how does it break into two lines in the rear? Is it one going and one coming?
I am totally lost guys.

Ice you are correct on the fuel lines. On the brake lines you'll have 2 lines come out of the maser cylinder, one for the front and one for the rear. The rear lines will go all the way back to right above the axle housing and the a rubber hose from the frame to the housing, where the rubber hose will connect to a tee with 2 steel lines coming out of it, one for each rear brake. The front you can tee it off on the front cross member near the frame rail, or where ever you see fit lol. Hope that helps and makes sense.

i would only add that you may want to add a fuel pump of some sort to that system

Frank is right lol. I read fuel filter as fuel pump. My brain is not working the best this morning lol.

Ice ,
Jbailey is correct in his explanation, and Knarf is also correct about a fuel pump. It is not really that hard - just a little tedious..I spent a lot of time with different size lines until I found what I think looks good. Many pics of work that were enlarged and studied as I went along.. It is fun just a little on the tedious side as I said..If I can help just ask ...

Yea
The fuel pump should attach to the block , somewhere below water pump (normally on the pass side of vehicle). The kit you have doesn't have a fuel pump in it? An Electric Fuel pump can also be used -- that is normally attached at the rear of the car around gas tank area-either in front of the tank or at the rear as in race car applications.Hope this helps.. Also a fast question ? where is a good place to get a Photo Etched carb linkage set?

All are correct, but a '62 Catalina originally has a single reservoir master cylinder, so there will only be one line coming out of it requiring a T to split the line for front and rear. That T is usually directly below the master cylinder on the frame rail.
Also with body on frame vehicles, like the Catalina, where the master cylinder is mounted to the firewall, brake lines from the master cylinder to the frame need to have 2 or 3 coils wrapped in them to allow some flex between the body and frame. This is not required on newer unibody cars or when the master cylinder is mounted to the frame, like say a '50 Ford pick up.
Just some thoughts for extra detail.

fuel line looks good Iceman. and yes, the fuel line should go from the pump to the filter and on back to the tank. what i like to do at the tank is to drill a hole next to the tank and run the line through, i think this works out nicly since the line hook-up at the tank is almost always on top

Iceman Lines and fittings look great. Only comment I have is --are they not on the wrong side, seams like they would interfere with the throttle linkage..Fuel pumps ( i think ) are usually on the pass side of the car. which is where grumpys pic shows it to be. except his fuel line comes out the front of the carb instead of the side, as a majority do.. Don't mean to cause any extra work ,but they seam to be on the wrong side ? ?

No worries, Tom. I was asking Frank about what he meant with the line to the tank.
