That weathering looks great mate, but maybe muddy up the yellow a bit, it looks too good in comparison to the rusty bits. I would suggest some blacks and browns in the airbrush, on lower pressure, and mist it from a distance, about a foot away, vary it up a bit though, just take the goodness out of that yellow.

Thanks guys. I'll still be going back to the cab for more. Thanks for the tip, Dale. I hadn't thought of dark color mists. I will definitely try that.

Dude - Ice - you seamstress you!!!! That is so awesome!
I was actually talking to the wife the last trip we took to Hobby Lobby, (just the best dam store EVER!) Anyways, I was telling her why couldn't I get some material, some fabric spray glue, and make "REAL" headliners and seat covers - and you - my friend, just proved this can be done - and it will be done!
So let it be written - So let it be done!!!!
AWESOME WORK ICE - and that shifter - well that is simply.....
SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIOUS!

Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. Tom the seat cover is a sheet of cloth that I printed the pattern on. I can't remember the name of it. I'm not even sure what I did with the package. But yeah I found it at hobby lobby. Created the pattern from pics from the Internet and printed it out, cut it and a little super glue here, a little more over there and presto! I'm glad you like it. Last night I got to painting some more parts to match the cab. Touched up the cab as well. Everything is loosely fitted but it's getting there. Still need to mount the radiator, the moon tank, some headlights and a PE grille I have in mind. Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

Such a great idea Ice, I have ideas in my head already for doing "real cloth and leather seats / headliners. You know me, I kind of like getting stupid on the interiors, go figure, that's what no one can see, LOL. But as builders, "WE" know what the build has!
And this build is totally rocking!!! Really loving the realism bud! With all the parts I recently acquired, I may need to keep a set to try and do something like this someday! And thanks to your WI Progress pics, it helps so much man!!

I'm a big rat rod fan and this looks great Ice,love all the great detail work that you are doing. Ice,the front brake drums are they part of the chassis kit? I would love to make a mold of them.

Thank guys.
Tom - It's called Iron On Quick Fuse. It should be in the section with iron on transfers.
Mike, actually they are not. They are resin pieces from Scenes Unlimited. He used to be on here a while back but haven't seen him in a long time. Has one of the best dioramas I've seen. His eBay id is dioman. He doesn't have anything up right now but he lists every week. Great pieces. No flash on the parts I've bought from him.
