The last few weeks I've been in a slump not have the motivation to start or work on any darn kit. Won't make it to the October MOTM, still can't decide on a subject for the annual contest, and cant find a car for the American Graffiti build that's isn't already being done. Last night I was boxing up the kits I've been working on like the 41 Willys, the 49 Merc, and the 51 Chevy Bel Air. Had decided that maybe I needed a break from it all. Maybe too much glue fumes up the nose. Started looking through some kits in my stash to see if anything would spark a flame under my behind and get me back in the mood. Did a few mock ups on a couple of kits and then there she was....Vickie! She looked me square in the eye and I hear in the background......"Let's get it on.....oh yeah! let's get it on." (In my best Marvin Gaye impersonation). So we did. Spent a couple of hours deep into the night"............... Whoa!! That's a different night with my wife I'd rather not share. However, a 1932 Ford Victoria had been sitting in my stash with an extra body and interior. Played around with some wheels and tried a stance or two and low and behold I like what I think I can do with it. Haha. I took the chassis from a 32 roadster and modified it a bit. Some small tweaks to it to allow the tub to fall into the chassis. I love the way it sits You'll see before and after pics for both.     I figured I'm going to take it slow with this one. Want everything to fit well. Don't want to burn out and hopefully this keeps me going a bit longer. |

Small update to the paint job. Blazing black on the roof. Another mock up to make sure paint isn't thickening the body too much. More clear needed to cover the orange.   |

A little bit of work here. Added some fuel lines. First time scratch building a piece like this. Stabbed my fingers at least three times, bled twice. My rule, if I don't bleed I ain't doing a good enough job. Here's a pic.  |

it's clean and uncluttered, jam too much stuff up front, and you'll lose the look. if it were me, i'd put the grill in there and a spreader bar and call it done, clean and simple. that's just me though, your mileage may vary. |

My female says you should do the tank, but I'm usually not listening to her.
I say section that 32 grill so it sits where you had it but the top is even with the top of the cowl.
