Nice. I thought about this too but my last eBay challenge I went topless. That continental kit looks as if it fit like a glove.
May I recommend cutting closer to the windshield. You can use the clear parts for the small windows and just paint the trim on it. I'm sure you already have a plan though. Don't mind me.

This was just the first rough cut. The revell 55 convertible gave up its rear bumper and the fill panel under the cover, and the spare itself and the converible boot are from the revell 57 convertible. The 57 boot is wider than the 55s. I will scratch build the the covers over the rear seat panels. And I dont yet know if I will use the cross brace for the chassis from the 55 or the 57 (they may be the same...IDK) anyway it will get the lowered suspension, but I may swap out the rims.

Okay here's the color scheme. I was debating going with Lime Ice and a light green, or this Purple and lilac. I may have to build another one of these in green to keep!

Thanks Jesse and Dale! The dark purple is Testers one coat laquer and the lilic is testers purple enamal. I think they look pretty good together on this body style.
