That looks great. Question for you. Do you glue things together and then take them apart or is there something else you use when you're test fitting everything?

Thanks Mike, trying hard to create something different. Ice, I use a toothpick, put a drop of glue on a piece of paper, dab the toothpick into the drop of glue, tap it onto the parts that need to be together, use rubber bands or clothes pins to hold the parts tight until dry. Kind of red neck spot welding if you will. It's not cutting edge but it works for me. If I took more time, sat down and thought it out better I might be able to avoid doing this but I'm kind of like Leepu from Leepu and Putbull and not like Aaron from Fast and Loud. I do my work in a pretty unconventional way. But I like taking the high road. Gives me inner peace lol.

I do that to all mine. round them up a little.

Thanks Tubbs. This is the only way I can do these types of models because there is so much test fit, grind, sand, file, cut, and tweak. This model is a bastard for sure. Nothing around like it. I like the fact it has a Chevy chassis and interior, a Mopar drive train, and a Ford body. Kind of a mish mosh of stuff wrapped up in one package. What started out as a simple throw a bunch of stuff together a see if it works has turned into a in my opinion 'work of art'! I have set this model up as a roller no less than 6 times, tore it apart and changed stuff and rebuilt it only to tear it apart again. It has now reached the end of the line. Got about everything fitting on its last mockup as the following pictures I am posting in awhile will show. Lots of crazy little details added along with some interior paint. As of now the chassis and interior are finished except for a couple of minor things. 60cera, I am on the fence on the paint still. Was going to go outlaw flat black but thought about it and dont want that look. I am going to the hobby store to look at paint Wednesday. I have two colors here I can paint it if I choose. Flaming Orange and ice blue pearl. Still, I want to look at all colors and feel it out and vision which will fit the cars image (Leepu and Pitbull again). Imagine a guy looking like me waving my arms all over the display racks and paint cans in the store. They may call the cops LOL!

Put the car together with everything on it, new spoilers, complete interior, wheelei bars, and the complete motor for one last test fit. Next is adding the roll cage, shifter, radiator and hoses, and mounting the motor permanently and adding a couple of straight pipes on the hedder collectors. Then the chassi and interior, and driveline will be 100% done and all that is left is painting the body, adding some foil, the windows, and putting it all together for the last time! Cant wait for this car to be done.

Won't be able to post pictures for about a week. System is down due to the computer in for service. Only have my Android and I don't think pictures on this can be loaded onto this site. I'm just going to surprise you guys. I did get it painted. Maybe I can fully finish it before my computer is back?

Thanks Paul, wanted a cool color and thought this was the ticket. Wanted colors to tie in so I thought the matching color on the carbs, roll cage, and valve covers would do the trick. This really turned out to be a cool build after all. At first I didnt know what I was thinking!

Thanks Decee and Knarf. Its really a cool color. Did not know how it was going to look on the car but it turned out good. The color is Inca Gold/ Its the testors one coat Lacquer paint. I will still be clearcoating all the models I have painted before im done with them. Lots of shine is good by me!!
