Tiny update, not much got done this week, too much work going on with the house. Got the roll cage done, trying to keep it street and not track. Next step is the hood, trying to keep that motor under it.. And the biggest disappointment, the windows, they are both split, so i need to see if i can make others, or try resurect these ones..

Looks like it might be a struggle to keep the motor under the hood, but that interior is sweet

praising-the-lord-smiley-emoticon That interior looks amazing. Feel like I should throw in the towel. Thanks very much men, Joel, don't be like that, when i see something that i think is going to beat me, i try to go that little bit further, and hit them head on, use it as inspiration mate, you can do it!! Ice, I've been trying to grow in the hobby ever since I came in this forum. DeeCee has been an inspiration to me and I have tried to learn from him. I have been moderately successful, BUT, I have developed an excellent automatic towel thower-inner that works quite well. I'll be glad to trade you one for, let's see, ....................

D C, I've fixed windows like that before and if I remember right you use Testors clear parts cement to fill the crack on both sides and when dry you polish it out with polishing pads, it's been a long time since I've done it but I think that was how I did it smileyCACETROO_zps365bb43e
You got a sweet looking killer Vette going on here, I like it smiley-greet016

CC, no hurry with the decals buddy. Thanks to both of you...

The clear cement drys clear with no lines, you can make windows out of it also. You could also make a form out of wood and use clear plastic to mold a new glass with a good hair dryer to shape it. smiley-greet016

A heat gun might be too hot but like stich said you could hold it farther away or may be use hot water too soften the plastic and mold it that way.
I'm single also but I got a hair dryer just for doing things like this smiley-greet016

Thanks Tom, I will endeavour to decipher this over the next case of beer myself, and see what I can take from it...

Well guys, here is a BIG up-date, as i am having problems transferring pics from the camera to the poota, i saved them up over the last couple of days. Hood scoop has been enlarged, it hides most of the motor now. Next, the rear end, i did not want to run the bumpers, as they stuck out too far, so i built up the molded bit that sits under the bumper. Then made a race style dry break fuel filler. It looked a bit bare, so i glued 4 pieces of styrene together and fabricated some uprights for a rear wing, then did the same for the front for a spoiler. And now, the exciting bit.......... PAINT!!! I hope to get this wrapped up this week, so i can get some of my other builds finished, as this takes up way too much bench space.

Thanks Dennis, they sort of surprised me how well they turned out too.... SirBeast, i can't wait either mate, but i must refrain from playing too hard while the paint is still soft.

Dude, those spoiler uprights, and front lower lip holders are amazing. The hood scoop, the build up on the rear, man, your imagination is simply, "DA BOMB"
The work you have done so far is incredible, I truly mean it when I say you are awe inspiring!

Thank you so very much Tom, Paul and Joel, yeah, i am very happy with the way it is coming along. Tom, i shocked the heck out of myself with those spoiler uprights and lip spoiler supports mate, but as i am on a roll, i got stuck into making the ironing board to put on top of those rear supports, and a surf board for the front too. And Sirbeast, you asked, you got.... Here is probably the last update pic, My only final mock-up..There is a few nights of polish, and then lots of careful assembly, i have already broke off 2 of those darn rear uprights, just lucky they didn't completely tear off and destroy the paint...
