Thanks mate, well here is the rest. This is the reason to NEVER throw anything out, i used the rear fenders off this 1/24 57' funnycar about 10 years ago on my pink Cameo. Well, i finally found a use for the rest of it!! The front fenders and top of the door filled the rear fender flares after a bit of heating with the lighter. Now for the fronts, yet another donor , no clue what it was, but looks like it donated before.. These ones needed some filling with superglue and plastic sanding dust, will smooth it tomorrow night and re-fill both of them with putty.

Thanks men, Tom, just coz it's got lots of mods, still does not mean it will be any good , i can still stuff it up, yours is still a winner mate Paul and John, thanks, the plan was to try keep as much of the Vette shape to it, just so it looked " right". Thanks Stitch, glad to be of assistance mate, there will be an invoice in the mail for you soon....... smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f

Thanks D, well, after so much sanding etc, i now have no finger prints left, anyone need a safe cracked?? The body is almost good enough for paint, but there is a couple more little dits and dots to get right. Here is a quick mock up , just so i have some sort of update for you guys. It was so quick, i only just noticed i put the blower on backwards for the pics....

two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon Thanks bud, i just spent the last 2 hours narrowing the rear chassis, as i STILL couldn't fit those buggers right under, oh well,!!! that's what dremel's and super glue are for.....

Cheers Frank, thanks.. Well, time to cut the underneath, i started by removing the spare wheel stuff, flat plated it to now become the large race fuel cell. Next, i cut a channel in the chassis with the dremel, that is how much i will move the rails and diff mounts inboard, to get those buggers UNDER the guards. Now they sit where i need them to be, also fixed a couple more blemishes in the body.

Thanks Paul and Sir Beast, Having finished the Pro Street MOTM build, i managed to get some time on the Vette the last few days. Engine is almost together, just some more detailing to go, Interior is also sorted and painted, just got to add the roll cage. I made a couple more bars to it, but as it is a street car, not too many. Next job was to narrow the independent rear end, which was NOT fun. But, now i can fit those wheels under the guards. Made a set of plug lead dividers, and ended up putting them in the bin, could NOT make the buggers play ball..... And some adjustable thingy's..
