nice. that 1:1 looks like it would have been fun. I have owned a rash of S10 trucks over the years. none as rustic as yours. have one left in the yard I'm gonna put up for sale. it is a nice old '86 with the iron duke and a 4 speed. I had plans to drop a V8 a a 5 speed manual trans in it.......just kinda got side tracked and dont want it in my yard anymore.

Finally the S10 is on the bench! I'm excited to see this one out together. The punisher logo on the hood looks great. I hope you add it to your build as well.

Frank, THATS awesome! You took and literally cut out ALL the rust on the front half of the bed, moved the axle up and went and got it legal like that!?
NO crap man.........thats awesome! Can't say much for the value of the S10 kit tho, but you got one hell of a replica goin there bud!
Once you had the real one done......how'd it handle? I mean thats a SHORT wheel base in real life, what you cut out of the bed and frame, 2 feet? if not more?
Love the idea! But if you were going to model all that rust, Dale's right, you wouldn't have much of a model left LOL

didn't have to GO and get it legal. i drove it home on a friday and drove it again the following monday, it was legal the whole time the frame was shortened 22in and the box 24in and for handling...it hugged corners like a gocart even at excessive speed and wheel hopped like a jack-rabbit when ya matted the gofast pedal. i will have another s10 and i will hack it up and finish my vision in 1:1 as well

that's in great shape! does it run and drive? fuel pump went out. so it does not run, but it will start. compared to your s10...........zero rust. like I said, it was destined for a V8 swap with a 5 speed manual. just have too many vehicles to deal with.
