Question about the monster truck MOTM... Does it have to be an actual monster truck or would a large lifted 4x4 work?

Next month is turbo Cars, any limit on cylinders?? V8 turbo ok guys? I don't have any 4 cyl cars to build, and after scratching a Rotary, i would rather not do it again.

For the Pro Street MOTM the guidelines state that it has to be a stock floorpan in front of the rear wheels. Does that allow for a modified stock frame from another model? I have a 2005 Camaro kit bash planned that I have a floor pan from another kit with the narrowed rear frame and a full frame forward. I've shortened the frame to fit the Camaro but its all stock. Is that allowed?

Yes that will work. Some of these definitions we have to be flexible with. In the beginning most pro street cars were old drag cars that were put back on the street. Then people started purposely building cars to fit the pro street movement. What they are taking about is back halving a car were the frame and suspension are mostly stock till you hit the rear seat and then it is narrowed, tubbed and steam roller tires. If you ( lets just say ) take a 66 chevelle pro street and shorten the wheel base or remove the narrowed rear and graft it to the other frame this is fine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Beast, but if your secret Santa doesn't challenge you to build it a certain way, then it's any way you want.

For the work truck build, would vans also be considered work trucks in this instance?

Well, I have two trucks I had started last year. Just about a month ago I began building them once more. Intentions are to actualy finish them. Can either or both of these be allowed in the 2wd or 4wd truck build coming up later this year?

It wouldn't be eligible for MOTM. It has to be a new to us project if that makes sense. Lol. Keep the pictures to yourself of what you want to enter and come that month you can share a little at a time. These that you have already shared though, you'll be able to enter into the bracket races when they fit the theme.

Aug - Hot Rod build. Define "hot rod" please Personally I'm thinking pre 1960 (better yet, pre 1940) when I think hot rod. 1960 and later is musclecar, not hot rod.
