So it's 1972, ten years later. What happened to that '56 T-bird with the mystery blonde, and what happened with the blonde? Well, the whole story later, but for now let's focus on the car and it's build. I'll tell the story when the car is finished. It's kind of sad really.  I have done a little work already, but nothing to really show pics of yet. To be continued...... |

Hopefully I won't disappoint everyone. When you see the car and hear the story you may sit with your head in your hands, looking at the ground, asking "oh the humanity,...why, why, why?". Not sure if all my ideas will make it into the build, but I think the majority of them will. For now though I will leave you all a teaser image.  |

Thanks for that Skippy, I'm gonna have a look as I got some crazy sick and twisted ideas on modeling cars with some figures to go with them, and my first one is to try to find a figure that I can make look like Daisy Duke, Catherine Bach to go with her Jeep that I'm building but thats proving VERY difficult!
Can't wait too see where you go with this one! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

Only got a few little tid bit pieces painted this week. Hoping to get some major headway done this coming week end.
Hemi, that figure I used came from a Fujimi 1/24 scale drivers set from their Garage and Tools series. She was the bikini girl from it. There are three drivers in it also. They pop up on Ebay all the time.

Well guys, I know I may have been off the grid the last few days. I am really behind on this build and have entered defcon 4 status to get it finished. I don't have to go back to work until Jan 6, so I think I can meet the deadline by the 31st. Anyway, here are a couple progress pics just to show I'm not totally slacking on this. The engine is finished, the chassis is almost finished, and I started building the fender exit sidepipes. As soon as I finish modifying the wheels and backs I should be able to get the chassis wrapped up. Would be further along, but I had some paint issues with the body and some interior parts. They are in the pond right now.   For the side pipes I am using a set of pipes from a Revell '69 Corvette and the intake stacks from an AMT Munster's Coach. The top set is unmodified, the bottom are after I trimmed off what I didn't want. They are still in progress, but I think they are going to work out pretty good.  |

What would be any more fitting than an AG kit for an AG build? So far I am really liking this kit, I am thinking about picking up one or two more for some other build ideas. |

I use Simple Green full strength, but it doesn't seem to be as effective now as it use to be....or maybe Im just getting more impatent! lol. |
