I'm likeing this mate, it looks great from down here.  Now, you really are angry at this kit i must say, the last time i was that angry at anything, and really felt like you do, was when i decided the end my marriage, but even then i didn't want to burn her though.  But i bet i got more satisfaction from that, than you will get from burning a build though. But it does sound possessed, ....... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon................ -you know. this is a GREAT one, WE ALL ought to have some sort of "Jerry's Cherry's" decals to use on one of each of our builds as a "Club car"........

Yes sir Hemi - she be in her final stages of completion now, should hopefully have this wrapped up by this weekend. The decals I made myself, I just googled blue flames images, found some I liked, stretched them, etc. No biggee really
Made a few steps towards completion last night. Flocked the headliner with the gray/silver - same as interior - this is sitting aside for a day or two. Also touched up the inner body where the flame decals tucked under. Re-did, touched up the taillights, added some license plates decals, headlights installed and added some silver to the lower side rocker panels. Also cut the side windows, only wanted the rear windows, and found some "moon-eyes" decals I will put on them once the silver edges have dried. Probably be Wednesday before I get back to the bench - "Gots Volleyball tonight"!

You are probably right DC - all the grief this car has given me, but now, I am liking it. The flames on the roof gave it a new life I think.
Just a few teaser shots of the windshields going in, I have a different idea for the rear, side windows - hehehehehe I fitted the body on this morning, had to "adjust" the carbs and air cleaners, but should be able to get all that put back together tonight and the attack the remaining blue chrome pieces. Hoping to have this finished tonight / Saturday night.
Thank you everyone for kicking me when I needed it the most, for putting up with my rants, and generally dealing with my frustrations.
After these window shots, the next should be the final pics. Then I will make a thread in the eBay challenge finished section, where this originally was to be.

Thanks Paul - and yup, she will be done very soon, FINALLY!! I apparently still have some things to learn about engine placement, LOL - As this one seems to be off a touch, but oh well, I will keep the hood on it as a rule, especially since I did not wire up this build Last two pics before I start a finished thread below. And I will use the regular camera for the final pics, now just gotta find me a suitable back drop!   |

Thanks Frank No sir, just cleaned, buffed off the chrome on the tress, and gave them a few coats of the transparent Testors blue, then clear coated them. I like the effect, I have yellow and red transparent Testors cans as well, gonna do this again someday i am sure. |
