Now don't laugh to hard lol, but this is my $300 work beater. 1990 Chevy S10 Untitled by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr This one here actually belongs to my dad and brother, but I've been storing it for 8 years and have been tinkering with it recently. I got it running after sitting for 15 years not being stared. Its a 1963 Ford Falcon 4 door station wagon. Untitled by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr I'll post some pics later of my other junk lol. Thanks for looking!

Thanks Frank! At first I wasn't so sure about owning a Chevy, only the third one I've owned lol. I really enjoy filling up with gas every two weeks though.

Nothing wrong with an old S-10. I know some people look down on them, but I always thought they were great. For $300 and good on gas, how can you go wrong? The Falcon wagon is cool. Reminds me of one that one of my friend's dad had just like it. We did a couple weekend road trips with it with six of us piled in it back in '79-'80.

Thanks Skip. I figured I couldn't get jury on the S10 lol, its been a good little truck so far. I think I finally talked my brother into keeping the little station wagon for now at least. Here's a pic of my rat rod project in its current state. Untitled by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr Its a 1942 Chevy truck that was originally a Navy truck at the Naval Ammunitions Depot in Hastings, Nebraska. I know these aren't rides really, but you guys might like em lol. The first one is a 1964 Hi-U travel trailer and the second is a 1963 Go-lite travel trailer. Untitled by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr Untitled by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr Here's a really bad pic of my bike, its a 2004 Suzuki Marauder that I painted all with rattle cans. ...Jesse, that S-10 is the crap man! Let me guess, it has the 2.5 4 cylinder in it? (I ask as that motor, was nick named the "Iron Horse", ya couldn't kill the danged things! A friend of mine ran his (or well his wife did) not knowing it was out of oil for what they seemed to think was a MONTH, and the damn thing is still going strong! After of course having the pan dropped to see any damage from the bottom end!!!!
Not to mention a truck, and somewhere near what 30 MPG's isn't a bad thing....I get a fraction of that, or less with my big old monster....
Not a thing wrong with a Chevy S-10 really....Not for what your using it for, I couldn't justify using my truck for a work travel back and forth everyday driver and i only worked across town!!!!! I just couldn't afford it if that were the case!

Thanks CC, I have sold both the campers though lol. Been trying to get stuff out of the yard so I can bring home my dad's 1955 F-250, just too many dang projects lol.

Thanks John! That bike looks like a hairy ride lol, but fun none the less. I got the old Falcon wagon running and driving. Here's a pic with my boys and me on its first trip around the block under its own power in 16 years. IMG_20141017_084149 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr Its going to be my winter project and hope to be done and driving it by the time the snow melts. I'll take pics and post them here of my progress if that's cool with Iceman and GB.

Basically gonna redo the brakes, add a dual resivior master cylinder and patch the rusty floor pans. Also thinking it needs lowered a few inches lol. I plan to pull the engine and clean it up and install new gaskets. In a year or so I'll get quarter panels and the gumption to put em on lol.
Just basically make it mechanically sound and reliable then start taking it and the family to some local car shows. My buddy here in town has a 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar 88 and is always telling me I need something to go to shows with him in lol.

NICE! I gotta say with all my "rides" from mt first to the current I have NEVER had a payment, always bought outright.....NEVEr a "new" one but new to me was good enough.... plus I like my ole '67.......Speaking of, your Chevy here....... that have 4 doors, the rear 2 open "suicide" ?? Can't tell from the pic, but it seems tho it has 4 doors......

Unfortunately no John, it's a 99 so it is only a 3 door cab. It's not exactly what I wanted but it was the last truck in my top 5 that wasn't already sold by the time I got my money lol. I had picked out Dodges for my 1 and 2 pick, one was a 02 the other a 03 and both crew cabs with 5.7 hemi's. I like it though and I can fit the whole family in, plus it has a v8 and 4wd lol.

Sorry guys..... Didn't mean to "poke" with the 4 door comment...... I imagine the cab on my truck is damn near the weight of yer entire truck LOL plus I bet with that little fact, you get WAY better MPGs then I do I'll also bet, because you get way better mileage then I, you also got one less fuel tank to fill I got 2 fuel tanks on my truck, with 32 gallon EACH so........ And each has a reserv. on it too.....I can even close off one tank with a valve! EVEN so, I bet it cost you less to operate even tho mine is older,..... I guess thats the good with the bad...... I also have an old school 383 in mine
