Looking great nice detail on this . Next time when you drill the holes for the plug wires also drill through the engine block that way you can push the xtra wire all the way inside to get desired length not to short or to long

Doc, wire looms are PE parts from model car garage, great stuff, but oh so small!
Paul, ya, i thought of that as well, and even trimmed the wires some, BUT, i put them on before the valve covers and wasn't thinking enough. i may move them around some to take up the lenght, as in straighter up the valve cover if that makes sense.
thanks for all the comments guys, this is a tough group of builds to compete with, and you guys just keep adding more and more detail...... forehead-slap-smiley-emoticon
lol, i got alot of work ahead of me....

ok, no pic's, but some teaser info, lol. the motor is about done, got some PE stuff, so I now have an alternator bracket got some battery cables and ends, and even though the chassis is pretty plain jane molded driveshaft lack of detail looking thing, I did manage to run some fuel line on it. got my interior parts about final painted and am going to flock the carpet in the next day or so, may even make some floor mats, time will tell. should have some new progress pic's up in a day or so. you guys are really making me try new things, I thank you for that smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f

ok, motor is pretty well done, my first wire job, first fuel line job, and first PE alternator bracket job. ran the chassis fuel line [hard to get a good pic] also have the interior going full swing, just did my first flocking job, I like it. now I have to detail the door panels and such, stay tuned.........

Looking good. So many details. May I recommend pushing the wire down a little so they don't look so stiff. Just my two cents.
Doesn't seem like your first time.

thanks yes, the PE stuff is so tiny, I need to get some of those magnifying goggles, my magnifying lamp just seems to get in the way, so to this point I have been going cross-eyed trying to deal with these itty-bitty parts smileyCAELY0UD_zps3cc8a166

they do, kinda funny though, some are 'backwards', they say MG, lol. a buddy sent them to me, but I think they are from model car garage.

Wow, you are pulling out the stops on this build. Awesome job you're doing, and with quite a few firsts for you with different detailing techniques, you have done them very well. This looks great. Nice color combo choice too.
