wow! definately good to hear your son is ok, that musta scared the bejeusus out of you did you say Michigan? what part of Michigan, if i may ask. a little spit of a town called casnovia 35 miles from grand rapids. I get on the net by paying $200.00 a month for phone and 4G internet (ouch). cuts into my modeling budget.

I want to give my gtx sleeker look ware the spoiler connects to the trunk. I have a tube of locktite instant mix epoxy or a tube of no name epoxy cement. Can I use either to fill in the cracks. and how will they sand and paint. No it wasnt in the the original plan but I dont think my Departed friend Rob would mind. Ive never used epoxy on a model<script charset="UTF-8" src="chrome://hdv/content/hdv.js" type="application/javascript"></script>

i've personally never dealt with epoxy period. for filler i went to the autoparts store and bought a big tube of spot putty/glazing compund. the initial expense is around $20-$25 but i've been using my tube for about 2yrs now so it does last awhile. just don't put it on too thick or it will crack.

no problem right now progress is slow but I want it as good as my rusty shills will allow.and now that I have coffee and a stereo again things will pick up. After the Doctor today and some running I will be testing the epoxy.

In a earlier post i was asking about putty or epoxy to give the gtx spoiler a sleeker look. well I just happened to be at hobby lobby yesterday and over in the model section they have tubes of contour putty. problem solved I hope Ime gonna test it first I'll let you guys know.
