Since all I had were the two bodies, I am now looking for a Revell 1/25 stock version on this chevelle built or unbuilt. I wont need the body.

I think its a 67 ?! I found a new one for 25.00 at hobby lobby, but since I will be cutting it to pieces.....I thought a built kit or glue bomb might be better

Don't go cutting yet. If you're not in a hurry I can look in my stash.

Ok I'm sending you the chassis from the Revell 66 Chevelle wagon. I test fit it to that same exact body youre using. Like a glove, baby! Of course you'll need to modify it for the altered wheel base. I'm sending it with the 64 Dodge you bought from me.

Oh we also need to decide what we are going to do for prizes on the anniversary build for next june. I would like to do 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Still looking for some celebrity judges.

Ok folks, Iceman hooked me up with a frame so it looks like I will be continuing this little how to section. I will show how I alter the frame and suspension, before moving on to modifying the interior bucket. Maybe we can get one of the great engine builders that are on this site to do a how to on engine detail and build this thing a motor !!!

After thinking about it, I decided that was and excellent idea . So I have bagged up all the pieces that go to the engine of the chevelle model and I will send them to the first person who is willing to build it ( in the altered theme ) , detail it and do it as a "How To" here on the site. Later I will install it into the finished build. We can do the same thing with the interior and the paint job ! Lastly the finished model could be used as a prize or we could sell it as a finished model on e bay and use the money to buy more prizes ! What do you guys think !!!

You know Beast, you get some pretty good ideas most of the time. I like it. The hardest part though may be getting it and whoever to mesh together for it.

If there are model "conventions" where models, kits and aftermarket parts are sold (usually once or twice a year), GO! Often, dealers have glue bombs kids have long ago built that are cheap (around $5 or less) and offer a myriad of doner parts. Thanx for a very clever idea that saves much time and effort for a single kit.
