I am no expert either.... but first, look at the tiny mufflers, the motor looks too big, I know it 1/24, maybe that's [art of the problem. don't care that the engine bay is all 1 piece (washer bottle, battery, I am doing the 69 super bee and it's the same way. I cut that stuff out and will replace it with loose pieces). the engine, in my opinion, is all wrong. they could have done a much better job with that. all in all, it's not bad, like I said, other people put it together just fine. mine look like crap. like the 70 (newer release from revel) much better.

What Tubbs is talking about is the one your building is 1/24 scale compared to a 1/25 scale there is a difference makes it look a tad over sized , but still a great build Tom looking great

as Meg Ryan said in "when Harry met Sally"........
"YES,,,,,YES......YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS"
plus, I think they just could have done a little better job on it.

Ha! nailed it Dale.
The wife does like Bud Light, she wanted that case. I may down one or two of them after I mow or something. Her case of Bud Light is actually in cans. I myself like straight up bud - but I only like beer in the bottles. I will drink it from the can, but if I am buying, it's bottles!!
And Al is so correct, funny how you honeymooned here in the states, and we want to go to somewhere else. I have been to Japan, Korea, Philippines, all that from when I was in the military. Took a vacation one time to Jamaica, that was a drunken blast!! LOL
One of these days, if things go well the next few years, look out mate! We just may show up at your door - cold beer in hand!! smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f

Well Alan - I hope the free beer was good! And for sure Dale - we would need that second fridge - NO DOUBT!!!
Just a few updates - almost ready to do the "Big Crunch" soon and slap this all together. For now, am doing all the little touch up thingys and attaching the small bits, yadda-yadda-yadda, you all know the drill!
Thinking to print out some floor mats, but other than that, the interior is pretty much finished

Great work Tom! I haven't built one of these old Monogram kits in some time due to all the molded in details, but you have done a fantastic job on this one!

Thanks Alan! I really do appreciate that bud. I know what you mean, it kind of threw me back when I first looked it over. I forgot as well the simple-ness of these older kits.
Finished pictures thread is up!
