Been following your build and must say its a shame you didn't get it done for the contest. This is awesome! And the decals are a nice touch.

This is looking so AWESOME mate!! That grill looks perfect, the undies look great, although, i think you are missing a couple of hairs looking at that chassis pic... As for those JC's decals, you are the master !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They look awesome too mate, great work.... This is turning into an award winning build buddy.. praising-the-lord-smiley-emoticon hand-clapping-smiley-emoticon

Thanks so much GB and DC - compliments from you two master builders are so awesome! You are right GB, I do wish I would have stayed after it to complete in time for the wagon contest. BUT, at least it will be completed! Not too sure about it being an award winner DC, but it is nice to think it could. Just pacing myself like you said, to enjoy the hobby and not stress over it. For sure, your confidence keeps inspiring me to persevere!! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

Well, between pool maintenance, mowing, grilling, guitar practice and baseball games - I was actually able to get a little done to some builds.... Got all the front and rear suspension in, springs, upper a arms, everything! Then, as I was about to begin the "Big Crunch" as I like to call it when it's time to join the chassis and interior to inside the body...... I stopped for final checks, and decided to finally throw in some seat belts!! Still have (3) more to go, I was going to go all out and have (6) seat belts figured, but I am thinking in '66 - seat belts would have been an option maybe? So I will just put in (4) of them.

The last 3 days, I did not get home until late. These 14 to 15 hour days at work are brutal sometimes. Sure hope it settles back down soon so I can get back after the builds. I would love to possibly get this one wrapped up this weekend. Wishful thinking I know, but hey, a man has to have goals! LOL

Thanks Mike, getting close now - a few little updates..... Seatbelts finished... The Big Crunch went fairly successful, just the rear tires wanted to pop off - no worries, that's why we love the glue! Fixed the windshield and driver's side windows. Upon installing the radiator wall and accessories, fan shroud - windshield washer fluid, etc - I had to incorporate some physics to position for drying - LOL

LOL - Thanks Les and Dale. Nope - never really played tetris, or any video games for that matter. I was too busy being a dumb a$$, chasin chicks, getting into fights, the normal stupid stuff
Nice to know you come up with wild balancing acts Dale. The worst thing for me is it is usually "after" I have things balanced that I realize I either placed this on the directions I need to review, OR, I use something in the balancing act that I need - LOL

Ok gang - last few teaser shots before I get after some final pictures. Still have a few door handles, side mirror, wipers, etc to put on. And another polishing as best I can. But she should be finished tonight / Wednesday night for sure. Gotta get her out in the sun for some pictures, she looks WAY better out there! smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f Thank you everyone for following, you have no idea what it means to me - you guys are all awesome!! smileyCASHS601_zps1c54a9c5 The first shot is with the high rise cowl hood - I will keep this only because I painted it to match, BUT, I think I am going to stick with the stock hood.

Thanks so much Paul. I really did not have high hopes for this build. Being a station wagon and all, but it did come out ok I guess. Thank you again my friend smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f
