Thanks Guys! Here's a quick update. Dash is done. Chassis painted. and the engine bay is done. Mopars are unibody cars a the inner fenders are welded onto the body shelled brfore paint, so they should be painted body color. [URL=http://s868.photobucket.com/user/alangri_2000/media/jerryscherrys%20uploads/69%20440%206%20roadrunner/20151001_191048_007_resized_1_zpsdwj0loxu.jpg.html [/URL] All 69 road runners had a "voice of the bird" lilac horns that mimicked the cartoon caracters "beep beep" when pressed in two short bursts. The horn was actually a repo WW2 Jeep part. A closer shot of the horn

Thanks CC! I had to custom mix that color! Here's a quick update... When you opted for a 440 with 3 2 barrel holley carbs in 1969, it was an all or nothing proposition. Plymouth only made it available in a roadrunner ( Dodge only offered the 440+6 in the Super Bee) One of the features that ALL of these cars came with were 15 inch steelie rims painted black with chrome lug nuts, and red line tires. You did have a choice of either a 4 spd manual or heavy duty automatic transmission. The 4spd dictated a Dana 60 rear axle, while the automatic cars were equipped with 8 3/4 axles. While this photo doesn't show the transmission, I opted for the 4 speed and Dana rear axle. I will post some pictures of the chassis on the next update.

Nice work Alan, and you are correct on the transmissions. You must be watching GraveYard Carz like me!
I have learned TONS from that show about Mopars

I have learned TONS from that show about Mopars LOL! I've seen a few showz! Actually I've been into Mopars since I was a teen! and I also like to research my subject matter, and build as acacuratl as I can. It gives me the warm fuzzies when someone notices!
