This challenge is by invite only and based on your participation in past contests and challenges, GrandpaBeast and IceMan555 would like to invite some of you
to participate in this new contest.
The rules:
1.Kits have been selected and will be provided by The Administration. Everyone will get the same model kit.
2. All you have to do is pay for the shipping to get he brand new kit to your doorstep.
3. Contest will run from 1/1/14 through 3/31/14 - 3 full months.
4. Once you have completed the kit, you are required to ship the built kit to IceMan. All completed builds should be shipped back by 3/31/14 and
must provide a tracking number.
5. Once the kits have been received, all kits would be put up for sale on eBay, starting at the same time and ending in 7 days. The build with the highest
selling price would be considered the winner of the eBay Challenge and would be awarded a prize package. All proceeds from the
auctions would go into the Jerry's Cherry's Model Club fund. (In case of a tie a 24-hr poll will be set up on the forum to break the tie)
6. You are not allowed to bid on any of these auctions in an attempt to raise the ending price. You will be disqualified immediately if such takes place.
7. Like all other contests and challenges, progress pics and finished pics are required in their respective threads. Member voting for People's Choice will
also take place here on the forum for a single kit prize
Some things to keep in mind:
- Build this kit as detailed or as simple as you'd like
- Members are not deciding the main winner of the contest so build something a collector would want to own.
- HAVE FUN!!
The fine print:
Due to the cost of the kits, we are only inviting members that have been active and/or have participated in a few MOTM Contest in the past. If the
item is not completed or shipped back by 3/31/14 you will have to pay an additional $25 on that day. No member will be reimbursed
for shipping, glue, paint, or any other supplies used to build the model.

If you did not receive an invite this time around, we encourage you to stay active and participate in the monthly challenges we have. As time passes and more contests are introduced, you may be invited. Still a lot of things going on, so find something you can take part in already.

I have a question IceMan. For those who won't be the winner, will we get the models back? Or will they somehow get sold over time to benefit the Jerry's Cherry's kit fund?

Ok so remember, nobody is getting the kit back. They are ALL going for sale on eBay at the same time. That's how we'll determine the winner - highest ending price determines the winner. They will actually be sold and shipped to whoever wins them on eBay. The money we make from them will go to the Forum fund to be used for those big prize packages we put together. |

Yup. Just like we've discussed.
Everyone: as you finish your kit for this contest please ship it to me to the address below. Remember you need to provide a tracking number to abide by the rules and more importantly to make sure it doesn't get lost. PM me with the tracking number so I know when to expect it.

Also make sure you take great care in wrapping and packaging the model to try and eliminate damage. Also Each contestant should write their own description of their build so that they point out any things of interest or high lights. Every one should try and include that this is a club contest build and that the build that sells for the most will be declared the winner ( send these to Iceman by way of private message ). Iceman will do miner touch ups as well as take the same number and angle of pictures for each build that way it is fair.
