Hi all,
So I've ordered two distributor kits now, and both of them have the distributor tube, then cap which is like a cup shape, then a P/E top with holes to put the wires through. Are they all like that? Can't I get any that are pre-wired into the cap for a novice like myself?

I use them all the time. look at some of my finished kits and you will see the distributors, I think they are from Scale Detail ! I think Iceman has one for sale on his ebay. I also get pre wired magnetos also

schwack:Check out BNL, Teds or M.A.D for the best selection. I just got a Ford/Duraspark type which gave me a choice of cap color, wire color and a small strip of black wire for plug insulation. Only problem is the black wire isn't hollow, even though it would easily slip right over the nipples on my Ford big block pro stock head and the plug wires. I'll have to try and strip it myself without destroying it. The other option is to go to Lowes and find some shrink tube small enough to do the same thing.
M.A.D. (madmodeling.com) has the best selection IMO, including multiple manufacturers including a dual hemi setup and hei styles!
