SO, AGAIN... MY PASSION ARE THE SQUARE BODY GENERAL MOTORS TRUCKS... and homegrown resin parts when i SIMPLY can NOT find what I'm looking for in the BOX STOCK version. If you have seen my other projects then you know I am a Square Body fan. This is inspiration for these two attempts to reproduce this rare but beautiful trucks. Of course one is going to be a "FENDERSIDE" as well as a "WIDESIDE". When this kit came out I order a case, I used the white version of this kit to ensure the brightness of the colors shown well over white primer. Neither kit comes with a hood scoop, I used an AMT scoop from a 1971 Challenger from parts bin because why not.. This is my silly version, my way with limited skills. I cut a hole in the hood and found something good for a cowl induction setup, added a thin piece of styrene as hood reinforcement. Now, my painting skills are not so great, I haven't had time to get my spray booth put together in the new shop yet. RATTLE CAN EXPRESS. I'll get better with time but I hid the imperfections under some red vinyl tape. So this wouldn't be a 1:1 match, I stripped off chrome and this is where it took me... I picked up a 1973 Baldwin Motion Camaro engine online and will be installing it under the hood.
