I'm looking at Auto Air Color and Tamiya paint and I'm a little lost in the abreveations...can someone shed some light on this for me?

Don't feel bad, Jeff. No other country is too aware of these measurements. The US of A is only one of three countries that uses the metric system. We can thank Nixon for that one.

Got this off the Tamiya USA site. No explanation for "MS", although I think it may be for "Mini Spray" for smaller spray cans? TS (synthetic -lacquer spray paints for plastic models) AS (synthetic -lacquer spray paints for plastic models designed for Aircraft models in mind) PS (spray paint for polycarbonate R/C bodies) X-colors (gloss acrylic bottled paint for plastic models) XF-colors (flat acrylic bottled paint for plastic models) Finishing supplies (glues, primers and putties for various preparation work)
