Thanks Paul. While the family get ready to go to the inlaws for dinner I worked on the interior. Added the door handle and window cranks. Don't want to have the interior super clean so I used a dark tan and then a black washe to dirty it up. Tried to make the top of the door panel s a bit ols looking and dirties up the bottom of the panels to match the seats. The floor will just be a single panel brushed stainless steel with Alclad. Now that I'm looking at the pics I might "tear" them up a little. Gonna have to test that out. Anyone ever tried that?

Trying semi gloss black. Not sure if it works out. Will mock it up as soon as it dries.

So here's the history of paint on this one. 1 primer - spray can 2 metallic black - airbrushed 3 light coat of flat black - spray can 4 semi gold black - spray can 5 cleared It's has an odd finish to it. Will let it gas out for a few more days and see if it needs more clear. Maybe some pics in the sun or better lighting. Looks different in person.

Glued the donor tub to the body. The floor board got the seats added. Adding a 32 horizontal grill. The housing is drying for that right now. Getting close to finishing this one.

Here is the dash with digital gauges that's going in and the PE grille with the resin housing. And here they are installed. I can see the finish line.....

Well folks, I really wanted to finish this one before the year ended and I succeeded. It is now complete and in its display case. Check out all the pics here: 1933 Chopped For Rat Rod
Thanks for the encouragement and for following along!
