Not sure where to post but I had a question about the "Year you Were Born" build. For many years cars changed year after year even if just a little bit there was a difference between a 47 and a 48 or a 53 and 54. But it seems like once the late 70s hit cars started sticking around for a little bit before any notable changes. So my question is this: I was born in the 1980s where cars did not change much year to year. Is it a requirement that the box art say "1986" or can I use a 1983-1988 knowing that the car did not change during that span?

I dont see a problem as its still replicating the car from your birth year

gluesniffer2 after the conclusion of the 2nd quarter three month build ( build your birth year ) it will be set up for the 3rd quarter. Go to Three month Builds and other Contests ( click ) and you will see 2023 2nd quarter Three Month Build ( click ) you will see progress photos and completed photos . This will be where you will post your build shots and finished shots. 3rd quarter starts June 1st and ends August 31
