So bought the Atlantis J.J. Camaro, described as accurate... Body is cool for a current Nostalgia Funnycar. I ended up with the chassis assembly, wheels and tires and maybe the decals. Engines in the kit are a FORD 427 and something that may be a Hemi (?) The body is the old Heavy Chevy Camaro. So I had an AMT Camaro Z28 kit with missing parts on the shelf. So here is the start.

Well this is an interesting build. Made a new body from the AMT Z28. Fought to get the chassis assembled and than had to lower the rear suspension close to 1/4 inch (had a real steep rake to it). A ton of work to fit the too narrow front axle into the mounts and next I need to cut the torsion arms to raise the front axle up. The pair of engine choices were a Ford FE 427 or a Ford 427 SOHC with Dodge Hemi valve covers but still using the front cam drive cover. So I found a Revell Chevy big block and used the Ford Blower manifold cut down to fit the Chevy and the blower and belt from the Ford FE. Added a parts box Torque Flite on to it. Went to assembly the rear slicks and found the wheels are for the not included super wide slicks that Revell / Monogram used in the Trouble Maker kit (nope they aren't included in the Trouble Maker either.

. Kinda disappointed 30 bucks for the Atlantis kit and 80% crapola it would have been easier to go into the parts box and build it I feel.
