Got my resin bodies I ordered a few days ago and I think I have decided on this one. Corvette funny car using a Polar Lights funny car kit as a donor. Going to build it as if it was my own funny car. It will be called "Sharknado"  Wish me luck as I have no idea what I am doing. |

OK, so I haven't really got anything done on this build, but I did watch the movie Sharknado on Netflix the other night.
It's awful. So awful it may actually be good. Kind of like the morbid attraction of watching a train wreck. You just can't look away because you need to see how bad it gets. If you shut down the reasoning portion of your brain it is quite entertaining in a silly way.
Only now I can't get the song at the end of the movie, "Ballad of Sharknado", out of my head. Here is a link to it. I will share it with you.

I hate to say it, but this is the second build I'm not going to be able to get done on time. Things have come up that cut into my "special" time and I have had to decide which builds to use my time on, so I have put priority on those that have more of an obligation to other people, like the Christmas Exchange/Feb MOTM and the Ebay Challenge. I am not abandoning it and still have it on my benches, just won't make it's intended dead line. Sorry.  |

Awww. That's too bad Skip. Well I still want to see it done when you have some time. I know how it is to have so many projects going on at once. I also had decreased the number of projects I'm working on from 27 to 18. HAHAHAHA!

For sure IceMan. I really, really want to finish this one, so I will be posting it up on here.
That's a lot of projects you got going on. I am having a hard enough time keeping up with only 3 or 4 builds at a time. Just too much other stuff going on. Work, our farmer's market/flea market/festival stuff we vendor, the usual day to day other crap, and a rash of unexpected surprises popping up lately, has really been cutting into the free time for my model building.
Oh well, it all gets better sooner or later.

Yeah no worries, Skip. I really dont have that many project either. lol I have maybe 4 including the eBay challenge and the anniversary build. At least those are on my bench for now. But I know what you mean about unforeseen surprises. Oh well. At least we have our priorities straight bud! Just try not to be a stranger here. Always enjoy your comments.
