I took the Moebius Nicholson Comet A/FX and did his late 1965 mods. Altered the wheelbase 14" in the rear and 6" in the front. Converted the SOHC from carbs to injection by making the intake from the Revell 427 in to the Weiand unit by machining off about half of the top, adding the tube bases and fuel block / lines. modified the front frame with 1/8" x 3/16" rectangular tube, made leaf springs from .015 x 060 strip, axle and shocks from spares box. Made up the firewall and inner fenders from .010 Aluminum Flashing from Home Depot. Cocked the master like the 1 to 1 to clear the cam cover! ( flashing cuts with scissors, bends easy and has a decent brushed finish. $4 for a 8" x 10 foot piece)
Paint is 1965 Mustang Cherry Red lacquer.

I'm finishing his 1966 funnycar. I had to un alter the body to stock wheelbase.

I wish I could get a few more of the Moebius SOHC's. I think they are without question the nicest one in plastic.

That will be super fun to learn, i have couple project in line, after those i can try to build one, maybe a GTO or a Nova, i'll check
