Kids most likely. On Eastern Long Island we had the Pine Barrens and Potato and Duck farms. The car was a joy ride theft dumped in the Barrens. Pretty much norm for that time period. The car came from one of the estates in East Hampton and as I remember only a few thousand miles on it. Paul
