Thanks fellas. Gotta not go overboard with it... Its November 21 Marcos. Its the sunday before thanks giving. Meant to comment on this yesterday when I saw it and got busy with something. Ya know.....I thought you were showing off something in your garage closet and then a cabinet in your house or something till I did a double take. Man that is amazing work Pete. VERY realistic outcome man.

Beautiful!! Will that be in the Heavy Commercial class? A good friend Rob Nagle from over in Canada usually is at Fulton and the Spring Thaw show. You'll probably meet him if you're in the H.H. Class.

Thanks Paul!! Its been a long road with this project (6 years) I haven't decided on the category yet...Actually thinking of putting it in the competition/drag category. LOL...If they will let me get away with it. If not...Probably put it in collections...If I put it in heavy commercial, I'll have to put the Cammer in Comp/drag by itself, Not terrible but I want to keep em together. I am sure he and I have met in the past, ya talk to soo many people at the shows its hard to keep em straight.

Excellent work Pete. The truck looks real enough that I could hop in and drive. Very, very nice work.

Thanks JK! OK soo, Fulton model show was yesterday, I did well. The Drag Team blew everyones mind!! It was the rock star of the show. Everyone swore up and down that it should win best in show. LOL...It didn't. It did win "Best Ford" Judges moved it to the "Miscellaneous" category. Now its lumped in with Dioramas Its all good though, leaves the door open for the local IPMS show in April. I have been invited to bring it down to a show in Allentown PA in October also. The show is held in a car museum (Fitting) Keep an eye out! LOL...I'm sure pics of it will start turning up on the interwebs somewhere... If it does, let me know. Also won a 1st place for my 70 R/T Charger ( it also took best Mopar) and my 64 Cobra. The Bronco was well received too and took a second place in its category. I did manage to expand the stash a bit too with 8 new to me acquisitions and a few Detail Master goodies to boot. At least the Coke Charger will be ready for the April show!!!

Thanks Dave!! Yeah My intent with the Drag team was to stand everyone on their collective ear. It worked, perhaps too well...But I accomplished my task with this one. every one was floored by it...LOL...

Thanks Marcos! Yeah, I always have fun haggling on prices and getting good deals from the vendors. It is what it is man, cant win em all. The truck that won was just as well done as mine. Judges obviously liked that one more.(Judging is subjective) Yeah the PA show is next October, the 22nd. I was surprised by the invite and will do my best to make the show. Its a long way off at this point though, so we shall see.

A HUGE congratulations out to you on this Pete!!! Good LORD man!!! What you missed in best in show you more than made up for in wins pal. I had a similar experience with my Fw190 D-9. Everyone swore it was going to win the best in show but it fell the the guns of an F-4 Phantom that was on equal build terms as mine. Like you, I did win a "Best Of" in Best Axis Aircraft of Show.
Congratulations friend. So glad that you are here.

Thanks Joe! Yeah, I did alright at the show. Was not surprised about the Drag Team outcome. The judges couldn't figure out where to put it, category wise and they don't have a "Collections" category at this show. It would have faired better if they did. Lumping it in with Miscellaneous & Sci Fi didnt do it any justice. Such is life right. It still did what I set out to do. And got an invite to another show! Too cool.

Big Congrats!! I would have thought it would be a big rig with load, but I'm too logical some times.
The corvette Gran Sport kit, I'm 99% sure I have 4 of 5 of the M.C.G. P.E. Dry Transfer and Resin detail sets. If I have more than the 4 I need for the kits, you can have one. Paul

Your too kind Paul, thank you. I would greatly appreciate it and gladly relieve you of one of em. Only if you don't need it though. Yeah, The big rig category would have forced me to split the Cammer Mustang from the group. I didn't want to do that as they are a complete ensemble. They just didn't have a category for it at this show. Its all good. For the GS, I have to get the proper length control arm set from Historic racing miniatures to correct the front suspension geometry too. The kit stuff is too long and causes the headers to not fit the chassis properly. Harold makes a few other corrected pieces for this kit too if I remember correctly. I built two of these years ago and years apart. Made one a roadster with a ZL 1 427 in it...LOL... Like they weren't enough of a handful with the small block!!!
