I use a combination of putties depending on the application. This one mostly got Squadron grey and Tamiya white since there wasn't any really deep cuts, gaps or deformities to fill. When doing major reconstruction or filling in a critical area that I don't ever want to see shrinkage, I will use this stuff... I will also use Mr Hobby (Gunze Sangyo) Grey filler primer. Just brush it on and walk away till tomorrow...Its usually the last act of a build session for the day.Come back tomorrow, sand it down and move on. I'll post up a pic of the bottle in a future installment for you. Just like glue...I will usually use at least 3 different types on a build depending on application.

I always used squadron ( the old formula ) it was thick and not shiny like the new formula. I messaged them about getting some of the old and they replied they are out of the putty business all together. Where do you get the two part spot light ?

Any auto body supply house or Auto parts store like Napa will carry the filler. Its actually a final fill finish filler for auto body repair. Just make sure the surface you apply it to has some tooth to it or primer on it first. It does not like to stick to smooth styrene. It does sand very easily and takes primer superbly.

Ok engine is a 302. I added a set of Cobra rocker covers to it to dress it up and painted the intake aluminum. (It is supposed to be a hopped up day two ride after all) Also got the interior panels and instrument panel painted up. Still have to do the decals for the instrument panel and finish the seats but...Well, you get the idea... Next up will be some body and paint work; stay tuned and thanks for looking!!!

Late to the party but I must say ,,,, impressive! Your work and dialogue are outstanding! I ordered the same parts for a bronco build but it got shelved before I even started. Seeing yours makes me want to bust it out and go for it!! Maybe after I clear some projects off my workbench. Great job keep us posted !!

The paint scheme reminds me of a Mach One Mustang kit I have. Something about that yellow with the black accents just looks cool. Saw an EcoBoost Mustang yesterday at my local dealership and was VERY tempted to go talk to a salesman about it. Anyone have any good advice on how to talk your wife into another muscle car?

Read up on the EcoBoost engines before pulling the trigger. Ford hasn't figured out how to keep that 2.3L together with a turbo on it yet. If you do...Plan on head studs and an expensive Cometic head gasket for starters. That's just to keep the stock stuff alive. If you hot rod it...ALL bets are off.

Yeah, I have been doing a lot of research on the EcoBoost line of engines. I had a 3.5L twin turbo in my 2014 f150. Had to trade in on a 5.0 because Ford says no plows for the EB. I am fascinated by the power and torque outputs of these small displacement engines these days.

Thanks fellas!! Glad you like...I hear ya Marcos, Use tubing that's not larger in diameter than your header pipe bundle. Cut to length, glue it on the end and wrap it with foil tape!! I came up with this, after not being satisfied with the heat shrink tubing method many moons ago. The foil tape conforms pretty well and if you hide the seam at the top of the collector where it faces the floor pan...No one will ever know...Glue some P.E flanges on the end if you want and call it good!!
