Sort little how to on adding the custom touch of sunken antennas. Include are some pics of a 53 chevy front clip and a 66 riviera, I did a single front fender in both as well as a double rear slanted in the riv. My method is pretty simple. I use a piece of thick wall plastic tubing that the inside diameter is close to scale of the sunken antenna hole that would be on a 1 to 1 car.
I drill a hole just big enough for the tube to snugly fit . I let some tube stick out past ( youll see later ) and about a half inch on the underside. I glue and clamp it into place in the position I want it to be. Once dry, I use my roto tool to grind down the excess plastic from the outside making it match the lines of the body at the same times. Get it close, then switch to file and sand paper. Add a little putty and sand before primer. Take your time sanding and filing and you will see that it looks just like pro custom work.
For the antenna , i like to use dress pins ( the ones with a colored plastic ball on the end ) they have small and large ball pins ( no jokes please LOL ) I wrap some masking tape around the point end until I have enough that it fits snugly inside the tube and will slid up and down. I then cut the tape and point off ( in half ). I insert the antenna and then apply a drop of glue into the tube from the underside or inside.
