Ok i got it done .

First I want to saw to all builders , never rush, always take your time.

The vision I had in my head was very good. Im just not sure I did a great job building it. My use of junkyard parts created a problem were I was using both 1/24 and 1/25 parts and some things didnt fit well. As time ran out I had to rush a few things and well, you be the judge. I do think I will someday try this again.

2 - 1955 corvettes
1953 corvette motor
1960 corvette side coves, windshield, tonneau cover
1963 avanti rims and caps
1966 gto red line tires
solder exhaust

I watched you put a lot of effort into this build Dave. Despite your troubles it turned out fairly well. Time crunches can be our enemy sometimes when working with models. If I'm getting close to a deadline and it doesn't look like I'm gonna make it....I tend to say " the heck with a deadline" and continue taking my time with the build. Usually there'll be another day or another contest I can show in and I get the satisfaction of fewer regrets at the end of a project knowing that I took my time and finished 'er off the way I wanted to. You've got no kick coming though bud. This does look like you put the time into it that you did. Thumbs up bro.
