I've gotten into a kick of doing that with some of mine. Here is the first completed one, a little Ford Maverick.

Very nice. I don't know where my 1000s of Hot Wheels went over the years but I have picked a few up over the years when I found one in the street or something like that. I always wanted to try and refurbish them to see what they might look like cleaned up. Did you take it completely apart? My concern is finding an OEM looking rivet to hold it together.

This one snapped back together. When they don't I'm just going to use superglue.
