Hey gang,
I don't see many large scale kits for sale in my area. Hobby specialty stores are rather limited so I really only get Hobby Lobby and Michaels but I did discover a little mom and pop hobby shop that I will be going to from here on out. Anyway, because I only have the big name craft stores I don't see much other than Revell or Round 2 1/24 and 1/25 scale kits. What do some of the bigger scale kits go for? Recently I have been seeing ads on Facebook for these 1/18 scale models but they are subscription services. You pay a fee each month and they send you a few parts and some instructions. I thought this was really cool until I looked into it a bit further and found that the model ends up costing $1,000-$1500! I think that is way high and can't see spending that on a kit no matter how cool it is. Have you guys seen stuff like that?

I am currently working on a Lindberg Exterminator 2 and is a fun break from the 1/25th and all the model trains. Mike
