hi everyone, just back into building after a long hiatus [20 years plus], but have jumped in full force! built a ton of glue bombs as a kid, then did the usual fire cracker/fire bomb destruction of said glue bombs. as I got a little older, they got better, but then like a lot of us, life took over and modeling became a lost activity. well, now it's back at it! in less than a months time, I have put together a stash of 40 kits consisting of big rig trucks and trailers, and found probably 10 or 15 1/25th cars unbuilt in my attic [ya, a bit of a hoarder problem....perhaps...]. I bought all manner of paint/brushes/glues/painting accessories etc., a paint booth and a dehydrator [if your going, might as well go all the way]. so far I have started an AMT Fruehauf flatbed trailer, and KW W900. as a day job, I am an ASE master auto tech for a chevy dealer, so i guess that's what draws me to this obsession in plastic, if it ticks, i gotta know why, sure some of you have the same, shall we say, 'problem', haha. anyway, that's me, and now i have another place to roam around in while i wait for paint to dry... thanks for reading, ~tbill p.s. i guess i might belong to that riff raff club iceman seems to be dragging around

Lol. Hey tbill! Glad you made it over. So a Chevy technician huh? Interesting! Would love to see what you have started!
Mostly interested in those kits you found in the attic though. What treasures might they be?

Welcome tbill, sounds like you are going to fit in just fine. I used to build mostly big rigs and Corvettes when I was "younger", now that I've gotten back into the hobby recently I have built up my Vette stash pretty good, but haven't got very many rigs yet,...yet. I do have two or three tractors and trailers and an old Peterbuilt wrecker though, sitting on the shelf waiting for me. Looking forward to seeing some of your builds and your posts around the board.

thanks guys, will put up a few pics in a few days. just had my first epic fail.....painted a cab and hood, got carried away, and it's gonna need a dip in the purple pond..ugh..., worst part is, what parts aren't sagging/pooling are dust free, and no orange peel! talk about insult to injury, haha.
thanks for the welcome, and look for pic's of my stash and works in progress soon.
