Well as it says guys. I put it all away and I just don't feel it right now. I'm still lurking around here but just don't have any energy towards building. Anybody else have this happen?

Ditto! I have so many started builds that get me out of slumps. I'm sure I'll finish them eventually. Haha

It's just like everything else in life. There are ups and downs. Sometimes you just get a little burned out and need to take a little break, sit back and do other things until out of nowhere, you will get an inspiration to build something, and BAM! you're building again.

Yea ...i love building but I do other stuff. I enjoy watchin some sports on tv . Workin on real steel cars. Sometimes just being lazy and sittin around. I never force model building....i find the kits turn out better when I "want" to be down there !!

Well I think I found what was about to stop me. I'm gonna try a couple small things and will post them as soon as I'm sure they're ready

yep...I've seen myself stop for WEEKS over a lost headlight lense!!! When the hobby starts to feel like a job, it's time for a brake

it's a hobby, not a job. no slump, just a time to enjoy other stuff. I got back into building to relax and have something to do. some days I get home and go right to the bench, other days, I walk in, look over the bench, and walk away. sometimes, I walk away, 'de-compress' for an hour or so, then wander over, sit down, and make great progress. I do it when I feel like it, not because I feel I have to meet a deadline on it, that's the fun of it for me. and if I don't like how 'it' looks, in the pond it goes.....
