I fought the hinges on a 30s sedan delivery van, and those ones came with the model! I can only imagine how hard it can be to add them to a model not designed for it. I have a VW van I'm working on too but mine has a sliding door on the side.

Finally got one door hinged !!! Have to work so tomorrow I can hinge the other. That gives me 48 hours to paint and finish ! It will be coming down to the wire !!

Well, I hate to say this but I wont be getting the van done in time. I struggled for so long trying to get the doors hinged. Last night a applied the first color in my two tone paint job and this morning it was terrible. It had a big run and it had orange peeled all over. So rather then force it I decided to strip it. Here are the pictures from this morning and I will post finished shots when I do get it done. Well I finally was able to get back to this little van ! Still had some issues with the paint but it will have to do for now. I may buy another one and try the whole thing over.
