I learned last night that a high school friend of mine, great guy, and former number two welterweight in the world, Quad Cities boxing legend had past away. I never meet a white boxer that had hands as fast as Charlies. He fought Harry Arroyo in Vegas for the championship belt, thou Charlie lost, Harry has said many times that was his toughest fight do to Charlies hand speed. He can find some of his fights on u tube. RIP Champ !

That is sad to hear. I never met Charlie but I think I remember seeing highlights of his fight.
