Hey guys! I hope everyone ( and families ) are in good health and enjoying the summer !
Six months in and its been a roller coaster of a year. So many things going on, here and in personal life, its hard sometimes to keep up .
We have seen some really great builds so far this year but I think the best is yet to come. Remember MOTM and Three Month builds can be built in advance just make sure you take your pictures and dont post them till it is time. To be in the running for model build of the year you must win a MOTM or a Three Month Build to qualify for the contest at the end of the year. Same with Bracket Race, win a month ( even a solo win ) and that qualifies you for that month at the end of the year. Still plenty of time, six more months. We have some great themes and contests coming up. Next month MOTM Aug- promod/prostreet BRotM Aug. Black Paint - any kit , built any way but must be black ! Also dont forget we are just one month in on the latest Three Month Build Jun, Jul, Aug - ( due Aug 30th ) Monster Truck - New school, old school, if its big bad and loud it works !!! So lets see what ya got and build something that drops jaws like panties !!!
I would also like to throw out there the idea of another group build like we did with the Impala last year , we sold on e bay. Let me know if there is any interest and which step you might want to do. It was a blast and it made us good money !
Dont glue your fingers together !!
Grandpabeast is out !!!

thanks Beast. that answers some questions I was too embarrassed to ask. I have been here long enough, you think I would know the rules. as much as I would like to participate in a club build, I don't finish nothing so please, count me out of it. not that I don't want to be part, I just wouldn't do my part. I know me all too well.

What would be this years subject matter Dave? I always like to get my research out of the way ahead of time so I know what I'm working with.

Thanks Tubbs and Mustang1989 well it would really be up to the group ! Like the Impala I would say keep it simple but detailed. No need to try a full on custom. I like staying in the muscle car class but make model and year would be up to the builders.
